This project required experience and considerable expertise as well as an installation crew with proper certifications.

The goal of this project was to improve the aesthetic look of the building and correct a sun control problem that was causing heat gain issues in the building.

The building had spandrel glass installed and was curved so the window film needed to be installed on the exterior of the building. Access to the glass was challenging and required the use of swing stages and aerial lifts, which Lerma Film Crew’s installers are certified to handle.

This was a busy hospital, adding another challenge to the project. Medical helicopters were continuously flying in and out of the building. Ambulances were coming and going from the ER. Hospital employees were active 24/7. Hospital management had to know where Lerma installers would be working so patient privacy could be respected. As a result, the project required precise planning and scheduling, a Lerma forte.

All of the film was installed as planned to the satisfaction of our customer.

“It was a complicated project, but Lerma is so detail oriented that once I knew they were on the job I didn’t have to worry,” said Jim Brown, Suntrol Window Film’s sales director. “They did a fantastic job, as usual. Our customer was very happy and we had zero complaints.”
